THE RACES
The route of the TREG® Ennedi 2027 non-stop event will be almost identical to the 2025 route below, with the start located in the canton of Nohi. A few adjustments will be made to reach the announced distances of 200km and 100km. The time limits will be generous to allow as many participants as possible to complete the event.
The routes for the 5-stage format will be identical to the 2022 edition and will take in the region's majestic and exceptional sites, in particular the magnificent arches and gueltas* of the Ennedi.
The stages will be as follows:
- Stage 1 - Bamena - 22km - Monday 18/01/2027
- Stage 2 - Archei - 38km - Tuesday 19/01/2027
- Stage 3 - Elephant - 47km (loop) - Wednesday 20/01/2027
- Stage 4 - Aloba - 28km - Thursday 21/01/2027
- Stage 5 - Djoulia - 58km - Friday 22/01/2027

* Guelta: A natural water spring found in particular in the mountainous massifs of the Sahara at the foot of shady cliffs protected from the sun. The Guelta brings freshness and shelter to nomadic travellers facing the harshness of the environment.
