Medical :
Participation in the CUBA MOUNTAIN TRAIL, an event in an unusual environment, requires, in addition to suitable training, good health at the time of your participation.
A medical certificate less than one year old, mentioning "running in competition", must be completed by a doctor as well as an ECG (electrocardiogram) or an effort test according to the following rules
- an electrocardiogram at rest dated less than two years before the start of the race for all runners registered for the 40km race or who are under 40 years of age
- an exercise test dated less than three years before the start of the race for runners registered for the 80km or 160km race and who are over 40 years old
The medical certificate and the ECG (electrocardiogram) must be sent to Isabelle Paucot, last date 15 March 2021, by e-mail to i.paucot@le-treg.com.
In addition, runners must bring the originals or a FULL copy of the documents (ECG / stress test) in their luggage to present at the individual medical briefing.
It is important that you take the start of the CUBA MOUNTAIN TRAIL events in perfect physical condition because a latent illness can become very serious under the specific conditions of the event, and make it even more difficult to get help. The competitor undertakes to imperatively inform the medical team of any health problem, even benign, that he has encountered.
Visas :
A tourist visa is not necessary to go to Cuba. Nevertheless, your passport must be valid for 6 months after your return date (otherwise, you must start a passport renewal procedure again).
Vaccinations:
No vaccinations are required to travel to Cuba.
Covid 19
Depending on the health situation at the time of the event, a negative Covid test less than 72 hours old may be required by the airline authorities or by the destination country. Each competitor is responsible for meeting these requirements, the cost of which is not included in the price of the trip.
