The Sahara Algeria Treg offers a sporting trip rich in stages and GPS self-navigation for all levels. In fact, we will be offering the possibility of doing half-stages!
Programme (subject to change):
Friday 3 December : early departure from Paris to Algiers (for those who have chosen a departure from Paris). Free time in Algiers in the afternoon
Saturday 4 December : early flight to Djanet - Settling into the hostel - Acclimatisation
Sunday 5 December : GPS training - Technical and medical briefing. Night at the hostel.
Monday 6 December : Stage 1 - Tinariwen - 35km - Bivouac
Tuesday 7 December : Stage 2 - Tikobaouine - 44km - Bivouac
Wednesday 8 December : Stage 3 - Erg Admer - 50km - Bivouac
Thursday, 9 December : Stage 4 - Tahor - 56km - Bivouac
Friday 10 December : Stage 5 - Djanet - 37km - Overnight in a hostel
Saturday 11 December : Various visits or free time - Prize-giving ceremony and closing evening - Overnight at the hostel
Sunday 12 December : Morning departure for Algiers and then Paris (for those who have chosen to depart from Paris).
Accommodation in Djanet will be in a comfortable hostel with all amenities.
