Participation in the TREG CABO VERDE TRAIL, an event in an unusual environment, requires, in addition to adapted training, good health at the time of your participation.
The documents to be provided are :
- for all registered participants, a medical certificate specific to the TREG, less than one year old, must be completed by a doctor.
- for runners registered for the 113km race, an ECG ( electrocardiogram) at rest dating less than two years before the start of the race
The medical certificate and the ECG must be sent to Isabelle Paucot, last deadline 15th April 2021, by email to email@example.com .
In addition, the runners will have to take the originals or a COMPLETE copy of the documents (ECG) in their luggage to present them at the individual medical briefing.
It is important that you start the TREG CABO VERDE TRAIL events in perfect physical condition, as a latent illness can become much worse in the extreme conditions of the event, making rescue even more difficult. The competitor undertakes to imperatively inform the medical team of any health problem, even benign, that he or she may have encountered.
A tourist visa is not required to travel to Cape Verde. However, your passport must be valid for 6 months after the date of your return (otherwise, a passport renewal procedure must be started again). You will have to pay an entry fee to Cape Verde which is not included in the price of the trip.
No vaccinations are required to travel to Cape Verde.
Depending on the health situation at the time of the event, a negative Covid test of less than 72 hours may be required by the airline authorities or the country of destination. Each competitor is responsible for meeting these requirements, the cost of which is not included in the price of the trip.
